Designation: Research Associate – Compound Management

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be part of the compound management group. In this role, the successful candidate will participate in operating the automated or semi-automated compound management system and processes at Syngene for supporting small molecule projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating automated or semi-automated compound management system at Syngene.
• Play an active role in managing the compound management system that encompasses the registration, tracking, storing, weighing, preparation of preparation of DMSO stock solution assay ready plates (ARPs), disbursal, and shipping (with the help from logistics team) of compounds.
• Participate in management of inventory with careful attention to detail, consistency, and documentation.
• Coordinate with various internal clients for the distribution and handling of the compound request.
• Data documentation as per project requirements
• Conduct additional tasks assigned by the manager time to time to meet team goals.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.

Educational Qualification:  
•    M.Sc/B.Pharm/B.Tech

Technical/functional Skills:
•    Hands-on experience in working in research laboratory.
•    Basic understanding of automation to run assays.

Experience:
•    2-5 years of experience in pharma industry / CRO

• Work experience in compound management or assay biology or DMPK groups is preferred.
