Job Title: Quenching Station

- Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time
Core Purpose of the Role:
- To follow the established procedures and policies of the company pertaining to quenching station to adhere to safety norms defined.
- Planning and execution of timely quenching of all received materials as per classification defined in SOP with safe manner and waste disposal
- To ensure proper maintenance of Safety gadgets and system.
- To co-ordinate for incident investigations and training for Quenching station.
- To co-ordinate campaigns, competitions, contest and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the employees in establishing and maintaining safe conditions of work and procedure.
- To implement, maintain and continually improve the Work Permit System.
- To coordinate in conducting Emergency Preparedness and Response, Mock Drill of CUF.
- To set up short-term and long-term goals for improving EMS to quenching station.
- Hazardous waste and expired chemicals treatment, storage and disposal to all OU across the Syngene scientific solutions limited.
- Monitoring of safe disposal of expired, aqueous and molar chemicals wastes
- Establish, implement and enforce safe work practices in quenching station.
- To ensure proper maintenance of safety equipment.
- Adopt best practices to reduce the Hazardous waste.
- To implement, maintain and continually improve the Work Permit System.
- FAB medicines issuance & stock maintaining Fire hydrant & fire extinguisher spare stock maintaining & documentation
- Overall BP safety cupboards materials issuance & stock maintaining Fixed & portable detectors issuance, stock maintaining & calibration done within timeline.
- Providing full month quenching station activity data to monthly meeting within timeline.
- To coordinate to utilize the OPEX and Capex budget allocated for quenching station.
- Supporting for Scrap yard in issuing the work permits, coordinating for the trainings. Incident investigation, Mock drills and Risk Assessments.
Role Accountabilities

Experience
0-3 years of experience in chemical/Pharmaceutical industry with knowledge on basic chemistry
Able to understand and troubleshoot to while quenching operations
Skills and Capabilities
Capable of thinking scientifically to address complex problems and develop solutions
Work as a team and have collaborative mindset
Good communication skills
Education
B.Sc/M.Sc Chemistry with
