Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring safety of self, by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements always in the workplace.
- Ensure all assigned mandatory training related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by self.
- Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards at all times.
- Play an active leadership role in monitoring and verifying safety performance through Gemba walks and other safety-led activities.
- Foster a culture that promotes an environment, occupational health, safety, and sustainability (EHSS) mindset as well as the highest standards of quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Overall responsibilities for a high-quality output coming from my area.
- Always hold self accountable for the achievement of quality metrics
- Contribute to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensure quality operations and compliance to company’s quality standards.
- Always ensure personal compliance to Syngene’s quality standards and SOPs
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensurin operation of effluent treatment plants Onsite and offsite as per the procedure.
- Responsible for Ensuring effectiveness of stormwater to prevent flooding, Pollution Control, and Emergency Response.
- Responsible for ensuring all laboratory testing as per SOP and the operational requirement.
- Responsible to eliminate and minimize environmental impact and comply with regulatory requirements for environment operation.
- Responsible for Ensuring site water and wastewater and reduction of consumption, Stakeholder Engagement and Communication and Collaboration.
- Responsible for ensuring complete Zero liquid discharge compliance status for the site.
- Responsible for environment operations Materials and consumable stock maintaining for uninterrupted ETP operation
- To Coordinate with EAM department for smooth operation by completing breakdowns and EAM concerns
- To maintain stock and consumption records of ETP and Lab consumable chemicals.
- To update daily & Prepare operational MIS of Environment management.
- Responsible for to Provide Training to Operators and Casual employees and improving their competency.
- Responsible to ensure compliance for PTW system in all ETP activities.
- Responsible for any time audit preparedness.
- Responsible to maintain the updated records of ISO.
- To ensure the collection/Storage/Disposal of any waste as per the procedure.
- Actively participate in cost-saving programs, implementing Kaizens and one improvement in every quarter.
Educational Qualification: • BSc/MSc (Chemistry) / BTech/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Technical/functional Skills:
• Well versed with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Projects
• Good command in English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Experience: • 1-2 years of relevant experience in EHSS
