Job Title: Water System Shift Operator

Core Purpose of the Role:

  • Operate, monitor and maintenance of water systems, including but not limited to Reverse Osmosis (RO) units.
  • Perform regular inspections and tests on water samples to monitor the quality of treated water, including pH levels, chlorine levels, turbidity, and other parameters.
  • Adjust treatment processes and equipment settings as necessary to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate records of water treatment plant operations, including daily logs, test results, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water treatment equipment, such as pumps, valves, filters, and chemical feed systems.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify issues or potential improvements in the water treatment process, and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Document all operations, maintenance activities, and system performance in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Manage with CFT Teams for QA & QC documentation.

 

 

Role Accountabilities

Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operation of water treatment systems, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in all water treatment processes, ensuring compliance with cGMP and other regulatory requirements.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Data Management: Keep precise records of all operational activities, test results, and maintenance work to ensure traceability and accountability.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement in water treatment processes.

Specific requirements for this role

 

Experience

Having 1 to 3 years of experience in Water System Operation and Maintenance.

Experience from Pharma industry is preferred.

 

Skills and Capabilities

  • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the treatment process.
  • Attention to detail to accurately monitor and analyze water samples and equipment readings.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Proficient computer skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Previous experience working in a water treatment plant or a similar field is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
