Education and Experience

 

Education

 

 Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.

 

Industry Experience

 

  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant practical experience in downstream process development for biopharmaceuticals,cell culture, Virology specifically 

 

Other competencies required for the role

 

  • Proven track record in leading process development projects from concept through to commercialization.
  • Experience with late-stage process development, characterization, PPQ, and life-cycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of bioprocessing principles, cell culture techniques, and scale-up methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in high-throughput process development tools, bioreactor scale-up, process intensification strategies, perfusion systems.
  • Demonstrated capability in DoE, QbD and risk-based approaches to develop robust and scalable cell culture processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with automation and data analysis tools applied for cell culture bioprocessing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory submissions and quality systems in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for regulatory documentation and presentations.
