Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring safety of self, teams and plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements always in the workplace.
• Operation and maintenance of utilities like HT& LT switch gears, chillers, air compressors, Nitrogen plants, vacuum pumps, cooling towers, pretreatment water system, purified water, WFI, pure steam generators, HVAC, etc to meet cGMP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with national and regional grid codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CEA, IEEE, IS).
• Knowledge of qualification protocols and documentation practices for regulatory audits.
• Familiarity with global pharmaceutical guidelines (EU, USFDA, ISO, WHO, etc) and engineering standards.
• Hands-on experience with site execution, utility equipment installation, and system commissioning.
• Ability to manage vendors, suppliers, and consultants to meet project specifications and timelines.
• Exposure to Building Management Systems and Energy Management Systems for facility control.
• Ability to troubleshoot utility issues and implement innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in sizing and selecting chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to develop and implement strategies that align with ESG goals and promote long-term environmental stewardship.
• Familiarity with standards like GRI, SASB, and TCFD for transparent ESG performance reporting.
• Skill in assessing and mitigating risks related to climate change, including carbon emissions and water scarcity.
• Experience in measuring and reducing emissions across operations.
• Understanding of solar, wind, hydro, and emerging renewable energy technologies.
• Ability to integrate renewables into existing grids and optimize energy efficiency.
• Expertise in water efficiency, recycling, and sustainable sourcing.
• Designing and managing water treatment, distribution, and monitoring systems.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and present ESG-related data for decision-making.

 

Educational Qualification: BE-Electrical and Electronics Engineering

 

Technical/Functional Skills:
• Ability to troubleshoot utility issues and implement innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and sustainability practices.
• Deep understanding of purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), clean steam, and compressed air systems.
• Experience in IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for utility systems.
• Audit Readiness: Ability to prepare documentation and respond to regulatory inspections (USFDA, MHRA, etc.).
• AutoCAD: For utility layout and design.
• SAP/ERP Systems: Managing maintenance schedules, inventory, and procurement.
• BMS/EMS Systems: Monitoring and controlling building and energy systems.

 

Experience: 15 to 18 Years
