Core Purpose of the Role: The role will support the Head CDMO in business planning and strategy development, management and control of the strategic project portfolio, provision of business support to markets and Governance. This person will also play a key role in key strategic project portfolio management that are aligned to the vision and strategic pillars of the business.
This role requires a strong commercial, financial, and strategic mindset to ensure successful delivery, and involves working closely with Senior leaders in the organization assisting with their Strategy, operations, and day-to-day governance
Role Accountabilities
- Support Head CDMO to manage and drive key strategic projects, which typically require cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Quality, Safety teams, Sales, Marketing, project management and Operations team) from initiation to execution, ensuring alignment with organization and market priorities, and compliance with Syngene delivery requirements
- Support Executive team in their day-to-day operations/leadership meetings
- Contribute to the creation and review of market acceleration strategies and digital roadmaps with close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain project register, dashboards and ensure project status reporting is timely and accurate
- Analyze portfolio performance and recommend changes to achieve goals as necessary
- Understand P&L and cost drivers; formulating strategies to manage cost drivers for Development Services
- Collaborate with Finance business partner to create business plans and consequently approval from Executive leadership team
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support as necessary
Planning / Operational
- Elevate management review outputs data points and materials for easier decision making
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance and generate regular dashboards, provide support in preparation of presentation materials for business review, management events and conferences
- Oversee the annual goal setting process ensuring that organizational strategy is line with market growth and trends
- Continue to review, enhance business process to drive greater efficiency in-market and share best practices
- Manage multi-year planning across the division
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partner to drive quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan

Experience: Looking for a thought leader to support the Head CDMO in business planning, strategy, and governance, driving strategic portfolio management and execution in partnership with senior leadership.
Skills and Capabilities
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be preferred
- Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management, and project structuring.
- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team, with time constraints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Preferred experience in data visualization tools like Microsoft BI and Tableau
- Experience in a global business environment preferred
Education: Degree in Business Management / Business Administration
