The Role
• Manage IT systems for all Public, Hybrid Cloud hosted applications.
• Monitor server performance, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Administer and maintain the system operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Unix).
• Implement performance tuning measures to optimize system responsiveness and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with multiple teams, security, systems, and applications to ensure project timeliness for system provisioning.
• Vendor management supporting the IT system, inventory management, AMC, and validation of ongoing Opex for all system components.
• Responsible for Datacentre Operations & DR
• Conduct thorough root cause analyses for IT Datacentre & system major incidents to identify underlying issues and prevent future occurrences. Implement corrective actions and process improvements based on analysis findings.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
• Provide end to end technical support and problem resolution.
Key Result Areas
Role-specific:
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, that host applications, services, and data.
• Manage VMware Virtualized Infrastructure
• Manage Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for optimum usage and performance.
• Manage the privileged access management for all the systems integrating with MS Active Directory.
• Manage SAN Fabric connectivity of systems with Storage, SAN Switches and Virtualized Infrastructure.
• Manage Netapp storage, monitor the performance read/write IOPs
• Manage the Disaster recovery site, ensuring the replication with defined RPO and RTO.
• Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts and access permissions.
• Administer and maintain the organization's operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Unix).
• Understanding of the Oracle Database and MS SQL database licenses for Virtual Infrastructure.
• Responsible for system availability of Disaster Recovery Site, conduct regular DR Drills.
• Responsible for Microsoft windows licenses inventory management, Citrix licenses, VMware Hypervisor,
• Work closely with network administrators, database administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of the overall IT infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the system infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and hardware inventory.
Education and Experience
Education
Any Diploma or Bachelor Graduate with strong knowledge in Network Operations.
Industry Experience
Overall 8-10 Yrs. experience in managing Virtualized Infrastructure with VMware Hypervisor & Windows/Linux Operating system, Citrix VDI Infrastructure, Netapp Storage.
