Job Purpose (1-2 Lines):
Lead and work with team of scientists specializing in NMR spectroscopy.
Key Responsibilities: (Maximum 5-8 Points)
- Able to perform as an individual contributor in addition to working closely with other team members of the NMR team
- Ability to collaborate with project teams and work in a fast-paced team environment, able to communicate effectively and timely.
- Solve complex technical problems pertaining to equipment’s’ software, hardware, or experimental set-ups.
- Knowledge about superconducting magnets maintenance activities, including cryogen refillings.
- Review of daily/monthly laboratory monitoring, verification, and calibration records of equipment and instruments.
- Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the laboratory safety of self & colleagues
Educational Qualification:
- MSc in Analytical Chemistry or related disciplines.
Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)
- Able to perform acquisition and processing of 1D and 2D NMR experiments.
- Interpretation of 1D and 2D NMR spectral data.
- Independently be able to perform structural elucidation and characterization by NMR, deeper knowledge and exposure of VT/critical experiment applications and qNMR knowledge is essential.
- Expertise in NMR methods with proficiency in NMR data systems and pulse sequence language.
- Strong written and communication skills.
Experience:
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in NMR
Behavioral Skills:
- Must have very good communication skills, conflict management, and core behaviors abilities emphasizing in building cordial relationship with team members and cross team functions.
