JOB PURPOSE (Briefly describe the objectives of the job):  

To perform and assist in analytical team in the Biologics division, in executing routine HPLC related analysis, Method Development, Method Qualification, Method transfer and bio physical characterization activities and manufacturing process development support services as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Conduct HPLC related experiments according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Optimize and troubleshoot techniques to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to support project goals.
  4. Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
  5. Maintain accurate records of experiments, protocols, and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
  6. Stay current with advancements in plate-based technologies and techniques and recommend implementation of new methodologies as appropriate.
  7. Train and mentor junior staff members in relevant techniques and laboratory practices.
  8. Participate in lab meetings, discussions, and presentations to contribute expertise and insights.
  9. Develop, qualify and if required transfer analytical methods.
  10. Attention to detail and effective communication and documentation skills is desired.
  11. Adherence to the Safety and compliance policies of the Lab and organization

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Master’s in Life Sciences/Engineering or relevant field.


WORK EXPERIENCE:

2 to 3 years of industrial experience in analytical method (bioassay) development for proteins. 


TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

 

  • Comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with various bio-physical characterization studies and HPLC related studies.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
  • Experience in general analytical biochemistry (SDS PAGE, Western Blot, Protein quantification etc.)

BEHAVIORAL/MANAGERIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong orientation to meet time lines and ready to walk extra mile to meet timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability of working with different functions.
  • Demonstrated competency in owning the responsibility at provided role/functions
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
