Job Purpose
Responsible for planning and driving strategic initiatives under the Supply Chain function by working closely with the leadership team in the capacity of an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the strategy to build a world-class supply chain tailored to each business area in close collaboration with the senior leadership
- Drive project management for timely execution by the respective owners and report the progress periodically
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the effective implementation of strategic initiatives
- Develop business cases and high-quality reports / presentations on the initiatives
- Develop capability in the supply chain function for M&A due diligence support
- Prepare Annual Operating Plans and budgeting for all requirements in supply chain in coordination with the senior leadership
- Develop communication content for functional and leadership discussions on topics relevant to supply chain
- Identify and oversee implementation of continuous process improvements in end-to-end scope including planning, procurement category management and operations, inventory, logistics and master data governance.
- Exercise decision making through data-driven gap analysis and developing corrective action preventive action
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate should be B. Tech/ BE /B Com/ M Com/ B. Sc./ M. Sc./ B. Pharm/ M. Pharm
- Prefers candidates with MBA from a Tier 1/2 B-School
Technical/functional Skills:
- Strong background in solving problems through data analysis and first principle thinking. Hands on experience with data analytics and visualization tools including Python/ R, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau is an added advantage.
- Must be well-versed with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Exposure to project/ program management for strategic projects in multi-disciplinary organizations/ in management consulting
- Financial analysis, business modelling and market benchmarking experience
- Hands on knowledge of supply chain functions (especially procurement/sourcing, inventory, logistics), SAP Modules, master data management is a bonus
- Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices

Experience:
- Should have work experience in driving strategic initiatives/ managing CXO’s office/ management consulting/ change management initiatives
- Prior experience in managing online platform/ marketplace development in e-commerce domain is a bonus
- Prior experience in pharma/ life sciences domain is a bonus
