Job Purpose (1-2 Lines)

The candidate will be expected to design, develop, and perform in vitro biochemical & cell-based assays, generate high quality data, interpret, document, and communicate data to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. In vitro assays (biochemical & cell based) - design and development, compound screening.
  2. Analysis and interpretation of experimental data
  3. Presentation and communication of data to stakeholders
  4. Following Syngene’s data quality, integrity and EHSS guidelines

 

Educational Qualification:  MS, MTech or MPharm in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related discipline

 

Technical/functional Skills:

  1. Mammalian cell culture
  2. In vitro biology/pharmacology, automation,
  3. Assay design and development, Data analysis and visualization e.g. GraphPad Prism
  4. Plate based assays (384-well plate), immunofluorescence/ high content imaging.
  5. Experience in handling primary or iPS-derived cells (neurons, cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, PBMCs, macrophages)

Behavioral Skills: Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good presentation skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive project timelines. Must demonstrate integrity and take accountability for their work.
