Job Purpose (1-2 Lines): Analytical Research and Development enabling Biopharmaceutics/Formulation

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine analysis of drug products (solution/suspension/solid oral dosage) using chromatographic, dissolution, and solid-state characterization techniques.
• Interpretation of analytical results and planning of experiments accordingly in coordination with the formulation and material team
• Method development and qualification
• Electronic lab notebook documentation
• Miscellaneous lab responsibilities
• Attend weekly project review meetings
• Co-ordinate with instrument maintenance team for troubleshooting
• Review of documents generated by peers or junior analyst
• Prepare analytical method reports
• Preparing and presenting scientific presentations in internal meetings

Educational Qualifications:  M. Pharm

Technical/Functional Skills:

• The candidate should have a good educational and theoretical, analytical chemistry background
• Good knowledge of analytical techniques and analytical data interpretation
• The candidate should understand instrument calibration, method development, method qualification, and routine analysis
• Good understanding of documentation as per GxP requirements (electronic notebook)
• The candidate should have good proficiency in MS office tools

Experience: 6-8 years with M. Pharm

• Good speaking-listening-writing skills, attention to detail, proactive self-starter
• Ability to work successfully in a dynamic environment
• Should be able to work in a team and flexible for working in shifts.
