Job Description: Chemical life cycle management for the Laboratory and chemical store/warehouse.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Understand the chemical's analytical techniques and guide and train employees on chemical exposure and risk mitigation methods.
  2. Ongoing risk assessments shall be conducted.
  3. Work closely with lab spokes and teams to review and monitor the safety requirements.
  4. ATS - Action plan implementation should be done on time to avoid incidents and injuries.
  5. Verify the risk controls documentation.
  6. Work with vendors on chemical supply, license, transportation, loading/unloading, and Expertise in chemical inventory management.
  7. Develop and implement the tools for chemical life cycle management.
  8. Responsible for timely intimation/investigation of any events or deviations to the Department Head, QA function, supporting the related investigations to the clients, and timely closure.
  9. Actively participate in client and regulatory audits. Ensure to follow cGMP and GDP.
  10. Outsourcing of sample testing is based on requirements and updating in respective logbooks.
  11. Coordination with engineering & maintenance and external vendors for preventive maintenance and calibration activity.
  12. Support in preparation of instruments URS, DQ, and IOP.
  13. Supported preparing standard operating procedures and uploading data in LIMS and other relevant activities per departmental requirements.
  14. Use of required safety PPE while sampling, analyzing, and working in the Laboratory.
  15. Individuals working in the GMP environment are responsible for documenting/recording the activities contemporaneously and accurately as per good documentation practices.
  16. Ensure safety compliance as per Syngene policy and EHSS requirements.
  17. Taking any other jobs by the Head QC/Group Leader/Designee.

Educational Qualification:  M Sc / M Pharma /M Tech (Chemistry)

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

Understand the chemical's analytical techniques and guide and train employees on chemical exposure and risk mitigation methods.

Experience: 5-10 years

Behavioural Skills:

  • Should be an adaptive learner.
  • Should demonstrate effective Communication skills.
  • Organization and ability to balance work and Life.
  • Should possess good Time Management abilities.
