JOB PURPOSE:  Purpose of the role is to manage end to end HPU operations – both systems and projects. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Overall responsible for the day-to-day activities and operations management of the HPU and staff performing different functions.
  2. Ensure all projects/deliverables are executed to meet high standards helping OUs recognize target revenue. Participate in cross functional Operations planning meetings and proactive anticipate and address issue for HPU project delivery
  3. Overall responsible for the smooth execution of the clinical conduct of the studies/projects-both BA/BE and complex, starting from screening, execution of the study and deliverables. Responsible for providing necessary systems, processes, infrastructure, and staff training to ensure safe operation of HPU, specific safety behavior expectations.
  4. SPOC for study volunteer management-oversee the volunteer related issues and resolve the same.
  5. SPOC for review of RFX and feasibility. Provide crucial insights and anticipate risks and provide solutions to ensure the proposals are robust and thought through to build client confidence.
  6. Work collaboratively with Commercial team for customer delight and win more projects. Maintain strong customer engagement to understand customer needs and fulfil customer deliverables for current projects. The customer engagement should help determine future needs of the customers helping growth of the organization.
  7. Co-ordinate with PMO, Bio-analytical, Statistical, Finance, Regulatory, Central Lab, Legal and Administration departments for development and execution of the projects.
  8. Cost/CAPEX management -Ensure the costs of delivery is managed as per agreed operating plan for HPU operations.
  9. Work with section head for:
  1. Head count optimization
  2. Review Quality metrics- audit finding indices, power BI data analysis and propose action plans for continuous improvement
  3. Reduce redundancy and work towards Operational Excellence
  4. Developing and cascading the organizations strategy/mission statement to the lower ranking staff and implementing appropriate rewards/recognition and coaching/corrective practices to align personnel with company goals.
  1. Co-ordinate with EHSS Department, Regulatory Department and Quality Assurance department for training the HPU personnel.
