Core Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Administrator with a strong focus on integrated systems and Agile team experience to join our dynamic Commercial - Sales Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions, along with proficiency in integrating Salesforce with other systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and support Agile delivery methodologies.
As a Salesforce Admin, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform, ensuring its smooth operation, and supporting our internal teams in leveraging Salesforce to meet business objectives.
Role Accountabilities:
- Manage and prioritize Salesforce-related request queue (from sales team and internal teams) ensuring timely resolution of issues within SLA’s. Provide day-to-day support to Salesforce users, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements for Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Periodical follow-up with sales team to ensure Salesforce hygiene and data integrity through regular maintenance and data validation processes.
- Implement and manage all user access/permissions, Salesforce security measures, including field-level security, data encryption, and access controls.
- Handle all administrative functions including user management, building Reports and Dashboards, Flows and other routine tasks.
- Author and maintain all process documentation by creating a knowledge base for common issues and solutions, system related documentation including solution requirements, workflows, use cases and updates.
- Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Plan and execute large-scale data improvement projects including data normalization, de-duping and general clean up within Salesforce and integrated applications.
- Design, build and implement new features and functionality for scalable solutions using tools such as custom objects, applications, processes, custom fields, page layouts, lightning pages and automate business processes with Flows & Process Builder.
- Prepare user training materials and conduct periodic training sessions as required. Monitor and improve user adoption, new user and ongoing user training.
- Work with business analysts and scrum team members to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide user training to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce solutions.
- Provide input on business processes, always looking for opportunities to enable continuous improvement in all areas relating to data integrity, Salesforce applications and reporting.
- Maintain and drive understanding of current Salesforce capabilities and stay up to date on latest Salesforce releases, best practices, platform updates, industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Evaluate, configure, and support integration of Salesforce with other systems, such as SAP, Power BI, marketing automation, and customer service platforms, using integration tools and APIs and ongoing maintenance of integrated applications.

Specific requirements for the role
Education - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. Salesforce Administrator certification is required.
Experience - Overall experience of 6-9 years with minimum 5+ years of professional Salesforce Administration experience with a focus on integrated systems and Agile team environments.
Skills and Capabilities
- Salesforce Administrator certification is required, additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator (Tier 2)
- Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks including configurations and customizations, flows, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, roles, workflows, processes, flows, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, advanced formulas, custom objects, reports, dashboards, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages and installed packages.
- Strong experience with designing and maintaining data structure and schema.
- Strong experience with data manipulation and maintenance with Excel, Data Loader and other tools
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using integration tools and APIs.
