Job Title: Executive/Sr. Executive/Shift Maintenance Engineer

Core Purpose of the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to play the role of Maintenance Engineer at Syngene. The role will provide exposure to maintenance of Warehouse, Laboratory facility and Brownfiled Projects along with management of vendor and CFTs.

 

Role Accountabilities

  • Identify the root cause of abnormalities observed in S19 manufacturing facility to upkeep the operation.
  • Operation and monitoring of HVAC and BMS.
  • Plan and support for executing new proposal requests like modification and new initiatives.
  • Clean room equipment handling, preventive maintenance, and its documentation.
  • Preparation and review documents related to QMS and EHSS management system.
  • Ensure and coordinate day-to-day activities, modification, and maintenance of the facility.
  • Attend the breakdown and identify the root cause of the problem.
  • Monitoring of inventories, spares and consumables.
  • Verification of the invoice and bills.
  • Adhere to the established procedures and policies of the company.
  • Planning & execution of all maintenance and validation activities.
  • Coordinating and executing work with service contractors for routine and non-routine activities.
  • Preparation of individual unit master lists and updating of equipment between the defined period.
  • Inventory management.
  • Issue of work permits for the plant activities.
  • Support contract technician and respective team technically when required.

Specific requirements for this role

  1. Experience: 3 to 8 Years
  2. Education: Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering

 

Experience

  1. Expertise in handling issues in panel and distribution boards with electrical components.
  2. Knowledge in SLD, MCC, cable routing/re-routing and panel wiring.
  3. Knowledge and handling of utility equipment such as Chiller, Compressor, Drier, Hot Water Generator and Cooling Tower.
  4. Maintenance of HVAC systems and monitoring of parameters.

 

Skills and Capabilities

  1. Capable of technical thinking to address maintenance problems and develop solutions.
  2. Work as a team and have collaborative mindset.
  3. Good communication skills.

 

Education

  1. Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering.
