Job Purpose

To manage and support procurement requirements for Common categories including HR services, Administration, Facility Management, Corporate Services, Travel, Training & Development, Talent Acquisition and other indirect spend areas.

This role ensures efficient sourcing, timely PR/PO processing, seamless vendor delivery, and strong stakeholder collaboration to meet organizational needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Intelligence & Best Practices –
  • Build strong knowledge of the supplier landscape for Common categories (HR, Admin, Corporate Services, Travel, Facility, Talent Acquisition etc.)
  • Track market trends, category benchmarks, and supplier innovations
  • Apply best practices to improve sourcing efficiency and cost effectiveness
  1. Strategic Sourcing & Collaboration
  • Support and execute local and global sourcing strategies for Common categories
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (HR, Admin, Facility, Corporate Services, Travel Desk, Security, etc.) to understand requirements
  • Drive negotiations and finalization of service contracts, annual rate agreements, and SLAs
  1. Procurement Operations
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for services such as recruitment, housekeeping, cafeteria, facility management, staff welfare, training services, transportation, office services, and professional consulting
  • Prepare comparison statements covering technical fit, commercial quotes, past pricing, and negotiation levers
  • Conduct techno-commercial discussions with vendors regarding pricing, delivery terms, contractual clauses, and performance parameters
  • Ensure efficient PR–PO processing, timely submission of quotations, and continuous supply of contracted services
  • Coordinate compliance documentation (SEZ/EOU where applicable for service imports)
  1. Supplier Identification & Management
  • Identify new suppliers aligned with HR/Admin/Corporate Service requirements
  • Develop and manage RFx processes for service categories
  • Execute contracts, MSAs, NDAs, SLAs, and addendums in line with Procurement & Legal guidelines
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
  1. Strategic Sourcing Initiatives
  • Lead cost benchmarking, category intelligence, spend analysis, and alternate vendor identification
  • Support category management initiatives for HR/Admin/Corporate Services
  • Ensure sourcing policy compliance and improve customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery
  1. Cost optimization
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities in manpower services, facility management, travel, staff welfare, training, and other indirect services
  • Drive negotiations to improve pricing structures, payment terms, discount models, and long-term cost efficiency
  • Develop alternative sourcing strategies to ensure competitiveness
  1. MIS Reporting
  • Prepare dashboards, cost-savings reports, performance scorecards, and management summaries
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and actionable insights for leadership review
  1. Vendor Management - Ensure SLAs are met, resolve issues promptly, and conduct performance reviews to sustain negotiated value.

 

Educational Qualification:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. MBA is an added advantage

 

Technical/functional Skills:

  1. Understanding of strategic, tactical, and operational procurement
  2. Familiarity with HR/Admin/Corporate Services category procurement
  3. Good knowledge of vendor evaluation & contract management
  4. Exposure to SEZ/EOU documentation (if importing services)
  5. Awareness of service-level contracts, manpower outsourcing norms, and facility management operations

Experience:

  • Experience in strategic sourcing/procurement of indirect categories such as HR, Admin, Facilities, Corporate Services, Travel, Talent Hiring.
  • Proven experience in vendor development, commercial negotiations, and annual rate/rider management
  • Working knowledge of SEZ/EOU processes (desirable)
  • Proficient in SAP / PRM / SAP Ariba / procurement automation tools
