Role Accountabilities:
- Ensure the readiness of station for blood and urine collection during screening and study phases.
- Collect biological samples required for both the screening process and the ongoing study.
- Coordinate to perform X-ray and maintain the records of the same.
- Perform ECG of the Participant during screening and as applicable during the study.
- Monitoring of ICU temperature.
- Maintain ICU and ambulance emergency medicines and equipment.
- Recording vitals parameters of the study Participants.
- Procurement of sample collection kits and laboratory inventory for study procedures.
- Labelling the vacutainers and RIA vials/Cryo vials.
- To maintain the nurse calling system and to maintain the record of the same.
- Cannulation and removal of cannula for the blood sampling during the study as required by the protocol.
- Administration of investigational products.
- Observation of Participants for adverse events and reporting the same to the duty doctor/investigator immediately.
- Coordinating with the Investigator/duty doctor in the management of adverse event.
- Handling of bio samples [as applicable] which includes collection, receipt, centrifugation, separation, storage and shipment.
- Management of bio waste disposal.
- Procurement of medicines for medical emergency and adverse event management in consultation with doctors and maintenance of the ICU and ambulance with all necessary equipment and emergency medicines.
- Coordinate and assist Maintenance department for the calibration of all the instruments at HPU.
- Performance of breath alcohol test and blood glucose testing by Glucometer as per protocol requirement.
- Preparation and dispensing of heparin solution.
- Coordinate with ambulance driver and hospitals for handling emergency procedures and communicate with them regarding every study schedule with possible adverse event.
- To carry out any other responsibility as and when assigned by the Head-Human Pharmacology Unit / Head-Syngene Translational & clinical research.

Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Education: B.Sc. or Diploma in Nursing
