Core Purpose of the Role :
The Manager – Content Strategy & Operations will play a dual role of strategic content leadership and operational excellence. This role exists to (1) design and execute a content strategy that elevates the company’s brand and thought leadership and (2) establish and manage a content operations framework that ensures efficiency, scalability, and consistency across corporate and business unit (BU) marketing.
Role Accountabilities
A. Content Strategy & Thought Leadership
• Partner with the Head of Brand & Content to define annual content themes and narratives aligned with business priorities.
• Drive the development of flagship thought leadership assets (industry reports, executive POVs, whitepapers, and strategic campaigns).
• Ensure that all content articulates the “so what” — delivering measurable business impact and value to customers.
B. Content Operations & Governance
• Build and maintain a content calendar that integrates corporate and BU marketing requirements.
• Design and manage the content workflow from intake → approval → production → distribution.
• Standardize content development with templates, playbooks, and editorial guidelines.
• Ensure on-time delivery and enforce accountability for all stakeholders in the process.
C. Content Development & Production
• Oversee production of blogs, case studies, presentations, social posts, videos, and campaign assets.
• Partner with writers, designers, and BU teams to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
• Repurpose content effectively to maximize reach and ROI.
D. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the bridge between corporate marketing and BU marketing teams.
• Provide BU marketers with content frameworks, messaging guidance, and enablement assets.
• Collaborate with PR/Corp Comm and digital teams for amplification and distribution.
E. Measurement & Optimization
• Track content effectiveness metrics (reach, engagement, lead contribution).
• Monitor and report on content velocity metrics (time to publish, output vs. plan).
• Use insights to continuously improve strategy and execution.

Accountabilities as a Syngene Leader (only for Leadership Hires)
- Champion effective Environment, Occupational Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) practices for the company and oversee compliance with those practices within Biologics business. Play an active leadership role in monitoring and verifying safety performance through Gemba walks and other safety-led activities.

Experience:
• 6–10 years of experience in B2B content strategy, editorial operations, or corporate communications.
• Strong project management and operations background with ability to manage workflows and deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality thought leadership and brand storytelling.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams.
Skills and Capabilities:
• Excellent storytelling and editorial judgment.
• Strong organizational and program management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with operational discipline.

• Comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
Education:
• Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications preferred
