Core Purpose of the Role:

Role Accountabilities

  1.  Outbound shipments execution - Same day execution of the request of the received within

(Cut-off) Including all export, Domestic, IUT & Scrap.

  1. Follow up of outbound shipments to ensure delivery within 4 days
  2. Coordinating with Clearing Agents for Clearance of Export and Import Consignments.
  3. Attend trainings as per calendar
  4. Follow up with forwarder for the status of the shipments and shipping bills
  5. Responding to all Mails to affect the shipments without any delays
  6. Maintenance of Files and proper filing of documents
  7. Providing E-way bills to CHA for all import shipments
  8. Preparing all Customs related documents for submission of Necessary Imports.
  9. Negotiate with CHA/Courier/Transport etc., with Annual Rate Contract for best price.
  10. Negotiated with better than market rates for CHA and Transportation vehicles.
  11. Enlightening to service providers by sharing new Customs authorities and Procedures for faster clearance.
  12. On time Delivery (as per SLA) of both Inbound/Outbound shipment goods in good condition.
  13. Providing Technical documents, License & statutory approvals etc., for immediate & clearance.
  14. Providing on time statutory Licenses & permissions & Annexures for clearances.
  15. Simplification of documentation and Improve process for both import/exports.
  16. Before landing shipment providing Annexures and Technical write-up and End use certificates for faster clearance.
  17. License to be in place before landing & Invoicing of goods.
  18. Import/Export Shipment end to end tracking & notify to concern personnel.
  19. Import Clearances within one day.

Specific requirements for this role

  1. Experience: 3 to 5 years
  2. Demonstrated Capability:
  3. Education: Commerce /Science Graduate , post graduation in Import/export added advantage

 

Skills and Capabilities

 

1)Fluent in oral & written English

2)Working knowledge of SAP – SD module

3)Proficient in  MS Execl & Power Point presentation

4)Self starter
