Role Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
  • Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards at all times
  • Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
  • Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time
  • Ensure adherence to procedure vs practices and Good documentation practices.
  • Co-ordination with user department for automation, control upgradation projects & ensuring the completion within committed timelines.
  • Ensure a disciplined work environment & quality culture for cGMP compliance.
  • Manage and provide leadership for engineering staff and contract employees and to ensure for all the equipment’s online documentation is maintained all time.
  • Responsible for Instrumentation and automation related works of engineering catering to all the BU’s (CD, FC, BMP & Stability).
  • Train the Maintenance officers, operators /Technicians and contractor employees on cGMP, Regulatory, latest Technical & Industrial developments related to Engineering.
  • Maintenance and ensuring reliability of Electricity in low voltage, Medium Voltage, High Voltage.
  • Maintenance and designing of BMS, EMS, PAS, FAS, and low voltage control automation.
  • Coordination with IS and IT team for automation projects.
  • Responsible for automation of Industry 4.0, Connected worker concepts.
  • Development of AR/VR training module.
  • Responsible for CSV upgradation projects in all BU’s.

 

 

Education: B.E or B. Tech in Electronics and communication/ Instrumentation.

 

Experience: Should have minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation and automation. 

 

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Identification of various automation projects to make the system reliable and mistake proof, so that rework can be avoided.
  • Developing and enhancing electro-mechanical systems performance and mechatronic devices.
  • Conducting existing HMI/PLC system study, documenting findings, and presenting reports with solution approach.
  • Developing trouble shooting solution for various electro-mechanical failures and finalize the approach.
  • Periodical healthiness assessment of PLC/HMI system along with operators and plan for proactive maintenance.
  • Creating/re-designing automated systems and the software to control them.
  • Communicate with vendors related to material dispatch and project documentation.
  • Co-ordinate with vendors for the execution of Vendor Audit, ER & ES Assessment.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams for all engineering project document approvals & ensure the project completion within the stipulated timelines.
  • Preparation and review of project documents from User Requirement Specifications, Change Control, Risk Assessment, Functional Design Specifications, Functional Requirement Specifications, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, SOP & Performance Qualification (as applicable).
  • Co-ordinate with IS/ IT, CSVC Teams for the preparation of Validation Plan, IS IQ & CSVC OQ. 8. Maintain and update project trackers on daily basis.
  • Ensure and maintain safe workplace at Plant all time in coordination with EHS Personnel.
  • Ensure 100% regulatory compliance while creating new facilities.
