Core Purpose of the Role: Supervise the IT Datacenter, Network operations Ensure the maintenance of the systems are implemented. Regularly check, organize, and control the IT and electronic data operations. Manage the staff by recruiting, training, communicating the expectations and appraising their performance.

Role Accountabilities 
•    Lead the IT Datacentre and Network operations.
•    Responsible for 100% Datacenter uptime availability by ensuring regular checks with Engineering & Maintenance team on physical Datacenter areas space, Power, cooling, cabling, Fire suppression and safety systems etc.
•    Responsible for entire server architecture, design with virtualization (VMware) & high availability, end of support, tech refresh. Ensuring uptime of 100% with no single point of failure 
•    Responsible for management of storage (NetApp & HPE) , SAN fabric , performance IOPs , disk wait etc.
•    Responsible for the Network design, architecture, implementation, and support of network solutions related to resilience Network Infrastructure to meet current and future requirements.
•    Manage IT Network for all Public, Hybrid Cloud hosted applications and ensure availability 100%.
•    Manage a team of server, storage & network professionals, mentoring, providing guidance and technical support.
•    Collaborate with multiple teams, security, systems and applications to ensure seamless integration of network services and implement third party integration solutions.
•    Vendor management supporting the IT Datacenter, server & network services, inventory management, AMC and validation of ongoing Opex for all IT Network components.
•    Conduct periodic Capacity planning to address server & network requirements.
•    Responsible for Network availability of Disaster Recovery Site, conduct regular DR Drills ensuring connectivity of end users from BCP locations.   
•    Responsible for Datacentre Operations & DR
•    Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
•    Support for various audits including ISO, SSAE16 & other Pharma related compliances.
•    Establish and lead the incident management process, ensuring timely identification, escalation, resolution, and reporting of IT incidents. Serve as the focal point for all incident-related communication and coordination.
•    Conduct thorough root cause analyses for IT Datacentre & Network major incidents to identify underlying issues and prevent future occurrences. Implement corrective actions and process improvements based on analysis findings.

Specific requirements for this role

1.    Experience: 
15+ years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure(server, storage, network) solutions and handling operations.
2.    Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc.), or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with hands on experience on various IT technologies.

Skills and Capabilities
•    Expert on IT Datacenter, Server & network Solutions and handling operations.
•    Expert on MPLS, SDWAN, IPsec VPN network solutions.
•    Should have understanding on integration aspects of server and network topology.
•    Should have understanding on the Storage , SAN technologies & performance metrics.
•    Should have hands-on experience in Network Routers, Firewall Palo Alto, Fortinet etc, Wi-Fi Network
•    Should have hands-on experience in DNS, Load Balancers, WAF, DDoS, SSL, TLS, SIEM, routing.
•    Should have hands-on experience in AWS, Azure Network Solutions Landing zone, App Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, VPC, Azure ExpressRoute, VNET Peering, VPN Gateway etc.
•    knowledge on DLP, ATP, Encryption, Endpoint detection & response (EDR), Extended detection & response (XDR) etc
