Core Purpose of the Role : The purpose of this job is to collaborate with business users to analyze business requirements to develop and manage BI solutions.
Role Accountabilities:
- Design, develop and manage Power BI dashboards using data from multiple sources. Perform data quality analysis, validations, dimensional analysis, and data transformation.
- Integrate data sources and develop and maintain data models, database tables, views, and scripts. Write algorithm to extract, transform, load, and merge / link data sources.
- Perform end-to-end dashboard activities starting with requirements gathering, mapping to designing, extracting, transforming, loading, and validating.
- Perform data analysis, data visualization, dashboard development, statistical design and analysis, and data delivery with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
- Provide problem resolution and diagnostics on complex system/data issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, translate, and prioritize business needs into data terms to drive strategies and deliver advanced analytics. Perform data mining using state-of-the-art methods.
- Coordinate with external service providers to get the dashboards implemented as per plan. Verify the designs, architecture, solutions and certify as per best practices.

- Experience: With 9-12 years of working experience with Business Intelligence preferably Power BI
- Education: B. Tech / B.E. / MCA
Skills and Capabilities
- Experience of working with Data Analysis, Power BI and Databases like SQL Server, Oracle etc.
- Experience of developing dashboards using structured as well as unstructured data sources.
- BI Architecture design experience with exp of developing dashboards using data from multiple sources like SAP, Salesforce, QMS, LMS and other transactional systems.
- Experience of managing BI projects in coordination with internal & external stakeholders.
- Experience of working with Microsoft IR (Integration Runtime), Azure Data Factory, Azure data lake, Synapse, Blob storage, SQL. Working knowledge of DAX, MDX Queries, & SSAS.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and RDBMS concepts.
- Ability to learn and adopt new data-related technologies.
- Solutions-focused, positive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work well both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong attention to details, excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collect and finalize user requirements, ask probing questions to eradicate ambiguity
- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
