JOB PURPOSE (Briefly describe the objectives of the job) :  

  1. To follow cGMP and QMS principles in calibration, maintenance and all the engineering tasks in Discovery Biology operations
  2. To prioritize and support all the calibration & maintenance related activities
  3. To co-ordinate the Qualification activities with Users, Cross functional Teams and Quality Assurance Department.
  4. To execute all the Modification projects.

           KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure compliance to Safety at workplace and place Safety at number one priority with Engineering and Projects.
  2. Planning and executing Maintenance and calibration of instruments in Process Equipment, Lab Equipment, HVAC and Utilities.
  3. To Verify and ensure of all PM and calibration activities are completed and labels are updated on the Instruments and equipment’s.
  4. To Perform and execute all the PM and breakdown calls for Discovery Biology lab equipment’s.
  5. To perform PM and support the breakdown calls for all equipment’s in discovery biology.
  6. To prepare and update SOPs – Maintenance, Calibration, System and Operations.
  7. To maintain spares, services, and AMC for Calibration / Maintenance.
  8. To follow and ensure Safe work environment and working methods in the workplace for all activities.
  9. To provide all requirements for OPEX related expenses for Discovery Biology.
  10. To Provide monthly data for all reports required for KPI monitoring.
  11. All SAP/Stores/Procurement related activities to be executed and processed in timely manner.
  12. To Ensure Data Integrity Compliance for Self.
  13. To Execute all the Change Control, Investigation and CAPA related Tasks.

TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  1. Good technical & Practical knowledge of quality control lab instrument, LAF laminar airflow system, pass box, circulation pump, warehouse movable rack, forklift, cold room and clean room maintenance. Understanding hazardous zone classification
  2. Utility equipment’s maintenance (chiller, compressor, vacuum pump, HVAC),
  3. Electrical Power network, UPS
  4. Preventive maintenance, Inventory management, Documentation etc.
  5. GMP/cGMP practices knowledge
  6. Preparation standard operating procedure
  7. To qualify / validate an equipment for operation with required documentation.\
