Job Purpose,
- To be a part of supply chain team and perform warehousing activities, receipts and issuing of samples, raw materials, consumables and spares supplies upon request, maintaining inventory and stock records.
- Coordinating stock update, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records.
- Creation of Purchase requisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling all activities of Consumables /lab delivery /Storage at main stores.
- Request to raise Purchase requisitions for all RM/PM /consumables and spares.
- Checking in house consumables stock and cancellation of PR raised in excess.
- Timely information to user department on PR cancellation if stocks are found available.
- Follow up for RM/PM under clearance / transit as per the purchase orders and lead time criticality.
- Receipt of all RM/PM/capex/Consumable and Spares received previous night , obtaining SEZ clearance
- Also handling courier collection from gate on receipt and obtaining clearance from SEZ where ever necessary.
- Conduct 1st check like Invoice , packing list, COA , pack size , MSDS( where ever required) and appropriate SEZ and security entries.
- Check appropriate labels as per Invoice ,packing list and COA. Check weight as per Invoice and COA,
- check weight as per route N+1and critical materials formula or all packs in case of high value .
- Array of RM in respective storage area on receipts and accounting for the same.
- Issue of RM as per requisition slips and updation in SAP.
- Periodical stock take , to have control on physical vs system stocks
- Handling stationeries and periodical update on stocks at Ground floor lab
- Reporting to SCIM Manager on stock reports.
- Arrangement of Jobwork challans and gate pass for SEZ consignments.
- Driving towards maintenance of 5S compliance as per company policy.
- Adherence to EHS protocol in arrangement of all materials.
- Handling Rejected and Return materials from stores of vendors
- Receipt and accounting of return material into system and stock after usage by user department.
- Handling external and internal audit with team members.
- Daily reporting of MIN
- Responsible for house keeping at stores.
- Handling of Nitrogen cylinders and updation of every day stocks .
- Receiving and issues of Maintenance , IT, Instrumentation and Admin related materials.
- Participating customer satisfaction survey
- space occupancy updating on occupancy tool
- Ware house space management has been initiated through ware house application
- Taking extra care for BAND 5 shipments as per EHS guidance.
- Arranging of ISCO Columns as per there Weight and issuing to end user across BBRC & S2.
- Consumables issuing to other blocks : S-16 , S-20 , S-12 , S-17 for all BBRC Projects.
- Unloading of Liquid Nitrogen & and taken necessary action while delivering the LN2 to lab dewars.
Educational Qualification:
B.Sc / MBA in warehouse
Good in chemistry, good coordination and has sound knowledge on Inventory system.
• Ensure completion of experiments and generate accurate and reproducible data from experiments.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously with; comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
