Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Strategy & Consolidation
    • Lead the design and execution of infrastructure consolidation initiatives across the network, end user experience, data centres, and cloud platforms.
    • Develop and maintain a scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid infrastructure architecture, integrating on-premises and cloud (Azure, AWS) environments.
    • Drive adoption of containerization and cloud-native services to modernise application hosting and accelerate digital transformation.
    • Evaluate and implement hyperscale solutions to optimise performance, cost, and agility
    • Maintained the life cycle product and suggested a technological roadmap
  • Business Alignment & Innovation
    • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into innovative infrastructure solutions.
    • Champion FinOps and cost optimisation practices to maximise ROI and ensure fiscal discipline

      Service Delivery & Performance

      • Ensure delivery of all Infra and Cloud services in the managed service environment
      • Maintain critical infrastructure uptime and manage SLAs/OLAs.
      • Drive continuous improvement in service quality and supplier performance.

      Infrastructure Governance

      • Define infra-centric performance metrics and operating models.
      • Enabler for infra modernisation through network, OS, DB, compute, storage, backup, Linux/Wintel servers, middleware, Kubernetes.
      • Establish and enforce best practices for infra, security, compliance, and governance across all infrastructure domains
      • Manage the partner of infrastructure management services efficiently
      • Lead data centre transformation and infrastructure optimisation projects.
      • Ensure compliance and cost optimisation for software assets.
      • Expertise in managing the infra environment, including Windows/Servers, VMware, Citrix, O365 cloud, MS SQL, Oracle & network connectivity across multiple locations.
      • Able to manage Data centre operations through planning and partners on network and cybersecurity, storage, backup, disaster recovery, VMs, OS platforms/environment- Windows, VMware (300+ servers), Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Citrix (2000+HSD),
      • Responsible for handling the DC, network and communication infrastructure across multiple locations, including KPIs.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience: 10-15 years in IT infrastructure and cloud operations, managing infrastructure operations
      • Education: Bachelor’s/master’s in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
      • Strong background in outsourced IT infrastructure managed services and partner management.
      • Technical Leadership & Collaboration
        • Provide technical leadership in the adoption and management of larger infrastructure operations end-to-end, like network, server, storage, backup up etc
        • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
        • Manage vendor relationships and ensure optimal service delivery from partners.

    • Required Skills & Experience

      • SME; leads initiatives & designs frameworks in IT infrastructure management with a proven track record in large-scale infra consolidation, hyper-scaler migration, and infra modernisation projects.
      • Strong understanding of data centre operations, network and cybersecurity, storage, backup, and disaster recovery, VM and OS, cloud, etc
      • Demonstrated ability to manage business continuity, high availability, and rapid recovery
      • Lead the end-to-end infra transformation from traditional DC to hyperscale
      • Oversaw and implemented comprehensive network modernisation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives
      • Conduct current-state assessments of legacy network infrastructure and develop detailed gap analysis reports
      • Able to manage next-generation data centre fabrics (Spine-Leaf, VXLAN, EVPN) for improved scalability and performance
      • Have strong network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies for enhanced security posture
      • Evaluate and select appropriate SD-WAN vendors and platforms
      • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
      • Should have at least once full infra hands-on implementation on a green-field approach
