Core Purpose of the Role:
The individual must possess excellent knowledge of complex drug discovery and developmental aspects of CNS disorders with strong in-vivo pharmacological hands-on experience. Must have exceptional ability to manage client relationships in-terms of project deliverables and business continuity. The individual should possess the ability to guide and drive the project deliverables on time to internal as well as external stakeholders by ensuring the quality all the time.
Role Accountabilities
- Designing the experimental study plans based on client’s requirements and manage proposal writing and submissions within defined TAT.
- Data review, analysis, interpretations, presentations and report submissions.
- Ability to manage the optimum utilization of resources and manpower to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Identify the training needs for the junior team members and ensure adequate skill enhancement steps taken care.
- Possess good communication (both verbal and written) and respond promptly to relevant stakeholders about the deliverables of projects involved.
- Participate in new capability developments and initiatives in CNS space.
- Create 1-3-5 plan for new initiatives and manage the ideas to translate into actionable items.
- Manage risk management aspects and ensure CAPA in place for efficiency in operational aspects.

Experience
Must be expert in CNS modalities.
Skills and Capabilities
- Strong theoretical knowledge on various signaling mechanisms of CNS disorders including behavioral diseases and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on new developments in CNS research.
- Strong practical knowledge in various CNS models which includes psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD etc., and neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral ischemia and epilepsy.
- Extended knowledge and understanding on various components of deliverables from supportive functions such as DMPK, ex-vivo, safety assessment & formulation department.
- Excellent understanding of in-vitro data and assay optimization aspects that help designing in-vivo studies
Education:
Ph.D in Neuroscience
