Core Purpose of the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated data scientist to lead the data sciences team, develop and apply cutting-edge data analytics, AI/ML methods for data-driven R&D.

 

Role Accountabilities

 

  • Apply analytics and predictive modeling, primarily on chemical and biological data
  • Implement AI workflows for enhancing decision-making and creating digital twins of R&D processes  
  • Implement data modeling strategies and workflows
  • Research new methods in deep learning and artificial intelligence
  • Interact with domain experts and clients to understand data, business challenges and implement robust, scalable solutions.
  • Lead and develop a data science team
  • Writing research papers and reports

Specific requirements for this role

 

Technical/functional Skills: 

  • Proven expertise in defining and validating computational approaches to generate hypotheses
  • Deep knowledge of machine and deep learning algorithms and applications
  • Expertise in the use of Python for machine learning and complex data analysis.
  • Knowledge of database design, creation and management
  • Experience leading and coordinating a project team
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment
