Core Purpose of the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in Bioprocess development of Syngene. The role will provide exposure to bring in newer technologies and improve the workflow in terms of higher titer and reduced timelines. It provides an opportunity to think ahead of time and be prepared to take up newer developments expediting target protein production.

Role Accountabilities

Develop in-house transposase which will drive the development of stable cell lines. This will bring down the cost and dependency on external resources. Firstly, understand the available transposase by thorough literature survey. Apply structure-based protein design approach to design novel transposases. Evaluate the novel transposase for its functionality and outcome in terms of copy numbers integrated and identify hotspots for robust cell line development. Based on these assessments, develop a new cell line for eventual commercial use.

1. Experience – 9 to 12 Years
2. Demonstrated Capability
3. Education – B.E Civil Engineering / Any Discipline with a Safety experience

Experience

• Implement Construction safety Management across Syngene.
• Contractor Safety Assessment and evaluation.
• OHS Management complying ISO 45001;2018, ISO 14001:2015.
• Drive pre-qualification of contractors and onboard qualified contractors.
• JSA review, Gap assessment and Recommendations on Gaps.
• Suggest Continual improvement in consequence management guidelines.
• Development of Task specific Checklist for critical activity and ensuring Training for all the contractors.
• Audit scheduling and Training plan for all the contractors.

Skills and Capabilities

Expertise in handling multiple expression platforms

Capable of thinking scientifically to address complex problems and develop solutions.

Work as a team and have a collaborative mindset.

Good communication skills

Education

B.E Civil Engineering / Any Discipline with a Safety experience
