Job Description

  • Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned

  • Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements always in the workplace.
  • Ensure all assigned mandatory training related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
  • Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards always
  • Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
  • Review and govern safety metrics periodically

Core Purpose of the Role

  • Operation and maintenance of 66/11 KV substations, HT Diesel generators with associated equipment’s such as switchgears/Transformers/UPS/FCBC/Lightings/earthing’s/infra and etc
  • Operate and monitor equipment using SCADA systems.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of the areas mentioned above
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for electrical systems in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare shift-wise, daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per operational requirements.
  • Manage spares and materials to ensure availability and uninterrupted operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP PR and PM modules for procurement and preventive maintenance processes.
  • Drive initiatives focused on energy conservation and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System standards and procedures.
  • Identify and execute automation projects to enhance reliability and ensure error-proof operations.
  •  Contribute to CUF-related projects and improvement activities.
  • Coordinate to ensure implementation of centralized electrical safety initiatives and improvements across all Syngene plants.
  • Track and maintain KPI progress in alignment with SQDECC metrics.
  • Drive and sustain 5S improvements across CUF areas.

  • Power supply availability
  • Maintain Service level Agreement (SLA) of Power supply
  • Perform equipment Operation & Maintenance, Calibrations, PM verification.

Specific Requirements for this Role

  • Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems operating at 66 KV and above.
  • Willingness and ability to work in all four shifts (A, B, C & G).
