Job Title: Lead Scientist

• Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
• Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time

Core Purpose of the Role :

• Knowledge and experience of different molecular biology techniques
• Design of the gene construct with proper elements along with required restriction sites for gene synthesis
• Expertise on cloning of the genes to required vectors and confirmation methodologies of the plasmids.
• Expertise on the cell line development in different host systems.
• Knowledge on transient expression platform
• Knowledge on estimation of productivities and analysis of the expressed proteins
• Knowledge and experience on different systems of increasing productivity
• Knowledge on the cell banking requirements for different host types
• Communication skills to present the work and discuss challenges, thereby coming up with timely solutions.
• Good documentation practices as per the required guidelines
• Skills on data analysis for cell line development activities
• Knowledge on Cell and Gene Therapy

• Preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures, procedures for instruments/equipment and relevant procedures are prepared by the Molecular biology personnel.
• Ensure alignment and Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines
• Publication of scientific findings in peer-reviewed journal, conference

10+ years of industry experience in Cell line Development

Education  

M, Sc/ Ph. D degree with experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology etc
