Job Purpose (1-2 Lines): Analytical Research and Development enabling Chemical Development, Drug
Substance Supply and process development of biologic and small molecule therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine analysis of in-process and isolated samples for early intermediates and Drug Substances
using chromatographic and wet analytical techniques
Analytical support of process development for biologics, bioconjugation and ADC projects using a
variaty of separation, identification and purity analysis techniques.
Independent plan and execute experiments and interpret analytical results in coordination with the
chemistry team and the Biologics Development team.
Method execution, optimization and transfer
Electronic lab notebook documentation: maintain detailed and organized experiement records,
ensuring accurate and reliable results and review of documents generated by peers or junior analyst
Attend weekly project review meetings
Prepare and review analytical method and technical reports; Review of documents generated by
peers or junior analysts
Lead or champion an initiative related to lab or project workflow within the department
As a senior analyst, contribute to more than one project at a time
Responsible for clear individual deliverables
Work collaborately across matrix organization to ensure timely deliverables in agile and fast-paced
setting.
Supervise the subordinates for timely completion of assigned projects
Responsible for periodic reports updating to both internal and external clients
Preparing and presenting scientific presentations in internal meetings
Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Biological sciences, Chemistry, Pharm, or Analytical Chemistry
Technical/Functional Skills:
The candidate should have a good educational and theoretical, analytical chemistry background for
both biologic and small molecule therapeutics.
Hands on experience on analysis of biologics and small molecules.
Good knowledge and experience of analytical techniques and analytical data interpretation
Hands-on experience on liquid chromatography (size exclusion chromatography, reverse phase
chromatography, ion exchange chromotography and hydrophobic interactio chromatography), capillary
electrophoresis (CGE and icIEF) and mass spectrometry of biologics and ADC analysis are strongly
preferred.

The candidate should understand method development, method optimization, method transfer, and
routine analysis and possess very competent analytical skills
Good understanding of documentation as per GxP requirements (electronic notebook)
Capable of working as a liaison between Biologics Development at client site and the Syngene Biologics
team
Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a collobrative,
cross-function environment and to address ambiguity.
The candidate should have good proficiency in MS office tools
Experience: 12-14 years with M.Sc. or 9-12 years with M. Pharm or 2-3 years with Ph.D
