Job Purpose (1-2 Lines):
The candidate will be a part of translational medicine and perform routine mass analysis of mAbs and antigens using mass spectrometry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform IHC experiments to support research and development projects / clinical sample testing.
• Perform robust monoplex IHC automated assays independently. Support team on multiplex assays.
• Support clinical sample analysis and data compilation.
• Performing RNA ISH and cell culture activities as an adjunct to IHC techniques.
• Handling routine histopathological techniques.
• Work seamlessly with Digital slide scanners and related digital pathology software platforms.
• Actively participate in SOP preparation and periodic review. Document and maintain appropriate records.
• Support the team with instrument routine maintenance, QC, Inventory management, and other operational activities in the lab.
• Perform other lab duties as instructed.
• Block repository management.
Educational Qualification: • M.Sc./M. Tech in Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry or Equivalent degree in Lifesciences with industrial/research experience.
Technical/functional Skills:
• Experienced in design and development of monoplex IHC assays
• Experience in working on diverse IHC Autostainer instruments and troubleshooting
• Experience with routine histopathological techniques is required.
• Experience in handling digital scanners and use of digital pathology software platforms.
• Having worked with preclinical and clinical samples will be a plus
• Experience of working in a regulated laboratory setting (CAP/NABL or other GxP environment) is good to have.
Experience: Masters/ Equivalent degree in Lifesciences with 5+ years of relevant experience in histopathology and IHC assays in industry/academic research.
