Job Purpose (1-2 Lines)

 

Key Responsibilities: (Maximum 5-8 Points)

  • Should have good Experience on Multi color flow cytometry, should be able to design and perform Flow cytometry assays from in vitro and in vivo samples independently.
  • Should be able to handle the Flow instruments from Either BD Biosciences and Beckman Coulter.
  • Perform analysis using Flow Jo software
  • Design, optimize, and perform Primary cell culture assays.
  • Perform meticulous record keeping and help in generation of scientific reports.
  • Should have a sound knowledge on Immunology and Oncology

 

Educational Qualification:  

M. Pharm/ M.Sc. /M.Tech (Biological Sciences) from a reputed University with special

expertise in in vivo Immunology or a related field

 

Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)

  • Relevant work experience in Flow cytometry and hands on experience on BD FACS Canto/ Fortessa and others.
  • He/She should be able to perform variety of flow cytometry assays in blood, bone marrow, spleen and kidney tissues
  • Experience of primary immune cell-based functional assays such as primary cell activation, proliferation, cytokine measurements and cellular signaling using appropriate biochemical and pharmacological techniques.
  • Experience in the field of immunology and oncology will be an added advantage
  • Significant hands-on experience with animal handling, anesthesia, dosing (IP, IV, SC, PO etc) and tissue/blood collection as per the animal ethics guidelines.
  • Timely production of quality data and accurate record keeping. 
  • Ability to proficiently use of MS Excel and Graph Pad Prism software for data analysis and other statistical analysis.
  • Ability to perform meticulous record keeping and generate scientific reports to support preclinical drug development.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively communicate both oral and written scientific results and conclusions to peers, supervisor and department teams.
