Job Purpose (1-2 Lines): To be part of in-vivo pharmacology team and support in-vivo screening of NCEs in different animal models.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Be a part of the team to build strong internal scientific expertise, and introduce new techniques and animal models for the evaluation of biologics and small molecules in therapeutic area such as Neuroscience / behavioral pharmacology etc
  • Help in design, coordinate and execute key in-vivo proof-of-concept studies.
  • Ability to develop and validate different in vivo pharmacology models.
  • Ability to independently execute the studies, detail oriented at the bench, excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficient in biochemical assays like ELISA, SDS-PAGE, fluorescence-based assays, UV-Vis spectroscopy etc.
  • Knowledge on scientific data collection, Bio-statistical analysis and interpretation of data

Educational Qualification:  

M. Pharm - Pharmacology

Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)

  • Proven experience in lab animal handling and relevant animal experimentation experience in the area of neuroscience/behavioral research.
  • Experience in all routes of drug administration and various tissue/blood collection methods
  • Experience in rodent surgery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills                                                         
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Experience: 2- 5 years in relevant area

Behavioral Skills: Teamwork, Effective communication and Collaboration
