Core Purpose of the Role:

Tracking and accountability of shift activity

 

Role Accountabilities – Hydrogenation Lab (H-Lab)

  • Managing day-to-day operation of Hydrogenation Lab reactors (Autoclave, Miniclave, and Tiniclave).
  • Allocating reactors to scientists/teams based on approved H3MS bookings and operational priorities.
  • Monitoring reactor utilization and ensuring optimum availability of equipment.
  • Performing hydrogenation reactions as requested by authorized scientists/teams.
  • Carrying out filtration, sampling, and other associated reactor operations during reaction execution.
  • Ensuring reactors are cleaned, maintained, and ready for subsequent use.
  • Coordinating preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for hydrogenation equipment.
  • Monitoring reactor parameters and ensuring safe operating conditions throughout reaction cycles.
  • Ensuring compliance with EHSS requirements, SOPs, and hydrogenation safety guidelines.
  • Maintaining records of reactor usage, maintenance activities, and operational checks.
  • Supporting safe handling and storage of hydrogenation-related materials and consumables.
  • Verifying proper functioning of safety systems, pressure relief devices, gas lines, and associated equipment.
  • Providing immediate response and support during equipment failures, process deviations, or emergency situations.
  • Ensuring housekeeping, cleanliness, and audit readiness of the Hydrogenation Lab.
  • Supporting training and guidance for laboratory personnel on hydrogenation reactor usage and safety practices.

Experience:

  • Mid level experienced resource with scientific background.

 

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Computer basics, Excel, Power Point.
  • Hands on expertise of Outbound logistics, Inbound logistics, SEZ documentation, US related documentation, Sound knowledge in Purchasing and Warehouse operation.
  • Understand the goals. Displays basic understanding of the project and department goals.
  • Accept assigned responsibility. Take ownership of personal deliverables.
