Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Scientist to join our preclinical research team focused on oncology drug discovery and development. The successful candidate will contribute to in vitro studies supporting mechanism‑of‑action, efficacy evaluation, and translational research across a range of tumor cell lines and therapeutic modalities.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about experimental biology, assay development, and generating high‑quality data to advance drug development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Cell‑based Assays & Functional Studies
- Conduct in vitro studies to assess drug efficacy, viability, cytotoxicity, and proliferation across multiple tumor cell lines.
- Design and execute advanced 2D and 3D co‑culture experiments incorporating PBMCs, CAFs, and other relevant cell types.
- Immunophenotyping by flow cytometry.
- Cytokine Profiling using Luminex, ELISA and CBA.
- Utilize and optimize Incucyte‑based real‑time imaging to monitor cell proliferation, apoptosis, cytotoxicity, and cell‑cell interactions.
- Proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Excel, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, or equivalent.
- Data Analysis & Documentation
- Analyze experimental datasets using standard software tools and prepare study summaries for internal reviews and cross-functional meetings.
- Maintain rigorous, timely, and compliant documentation in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs).
- Laboratory Operations
- Support general cell culture workflows, including routine maintenance of cell lines, mycoplasma testing and reagent preparation
- Manage laboratory inventory, track consumables, and assist with procurement processes to ensure smooth lab operations.
- Core Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and scientific writing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional research environment.
Educational and Experience:
- PhD in Life sciences or related field with hands on experience in assay development
Behavioral Skills:
- Good oral, written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
