Key Result Areas

Role-specific:

• Analytical support for the identification and characterization of biologics.
• Handling samples from upstream/downstream/formulation/quality control/production for protein characterization using various analytical methods.
• Data Analysis- Includes data generation, collation and interpretation.
• Develop, qualify, implement and transfer new analytical methods from RND to quality control, manufacturing groups and others (as per the project requirement).
• Evaluating new and emerging analytical techniques in protein characterization field.
• Interaction with cross functional team members (RND/QC/Production) within Syngene as well as with concerned team for characterization.
• Should be well verse with analytical method development for biological products, such as chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, cIEF, impurity methods etc.
• Execute laboratory experiments, force degradation, stability, in-process sample analysis and documenting them in detail in laboratory notebook and ELN.
• Compilation of data, interpretation and preparation of development report, STP, SAR, SOP, EOP, IOP and technical presentations.
• Draft experimental protocol and getting it reviewed by the team lead.
• Forecasting of material required in a given project where he/she has been assigned a role.
• Always ensure safety and data integrity compliance.
• Should provide data and maintain the SQDECC and other operational excellence activities.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Education and Experience

Education

M.Sc. and MTech.

Industry Experience

Minimum 3 - 6 years of relevant practical experience in an R&D organization (pharma, biopharma/biotech).

• Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company’s integrity & quality standards.

• Ensuring safety of self, teams, and labs by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
• Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self.
• Compliance to Syngene’s quality standards at all times.
• Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals. Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time.
