Job Title: Content Lead and T&CR Business Marketing

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Content Lead to own and drive content strategy across all business units, while also directly leading business marketing for the Translational & Clinical Research (T&CR) business unit.

This role will serve as the central owner of content vision, governance, and quality for Syngene, ensuring a unified narrative across discovery, development, manufacturing, and clinical services. In parallel, the role will take a hands-on leadership position for T&CR marketing, translating complex translational and clinical capabilities into compelling, revenue-enabling content that supports demand generation, sales enablement, and strategic positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Unified Content Strategy

  • Define and own Syngene’s content strategy across discovery, development, manufacturing, and clinical services.
  • Establish content pillars, narrative frameworks, and messaging guidelines aligned with Syngene’s business priorities and brand positioning.
  • Ensure content supports the full customer journey, from thought leadership and awareness to sales enablement and conversion.
  • Drive content governance, including quality standards, review processes, and consistency of tone, structure, and scientific accuracy.
  • Partner with business unit marketing teams to align priorities, avoid duplication, and enable content reuse and modularization.
  • Support senior leadership with highimpact content such as thought leadership articles, executive viewpoints, and flagship assets.

Business Marketing – T&CR

  • Own marketing for the Translational & Clinical Research (T&CR) business unit.
  • Develop clear, differentiated value propositions and narratives across translational research, early clinical development, clinical pharmacology, biometrics, and clinical operations.
  • Translate complex clinical and translational science into customercentric, commercially relevant messaging for biotech and pharma audiences.
  • Create and manage T&CR marketing assets, including but not limited to capability decks and brochures, case studies and proof points, service onepagers and explainers, Website and landing page etc.
  • Partner with business development, delivery and digital marketing teams to support demand generation, active pursuits, and sales enablement.
  • Support key industry conferences, webinars, and campaigns with integrated content plans.
  • Track and optimize content performance using engagement, lead contribution, and sales usage metrics.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of experience in content strategy, product marketing, scientific communications, or related roles.
  • Prior experience in life sciences, CRO/CDMO, clinical research, biotech, or pharmaceutical marketing is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both enterprise strategy level and businessunit execution level.
  • Strong experience working with scientific SMEs, business leaders, and commercial teams.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong focus on scientific accuracy.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing and demand generation initiatives.
