Core Purpose of the Role: To manage the whole transport facility for Syngene International Limited

Role Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement transport strategies aligned with company goals.

  •  Manage and oversee daily transport operations, including scheduling and routing.

  •  Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.

  •  Supervise and support transport staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  •  Monitor and control transport budgets, expenses, and performance metrics.

  •  Collaborate with other departments to meet transportation needs and improve service delivery.

  • Resolve transport-related issues and handle employees’ complaints effectively.

  • Maintain and manage the transport fleet, ensuring regular maintenance and repairs.

  • Analyse data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

  • Good experience in handling Move in Sync software and support in technology enhancement.

Eligibility & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in transport management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role.

- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage budgets and analyse performance data.

- Proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
