Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Specialist to support our growing team in Baltimore. This role will provide hands-on support across key HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data management, reporting, performance and compensation cycle coordination, and employee relations tracking. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This position requires a willingness to jump in and support a fast-growing location that is expected to scale quickly. Our company is headquartered globally, and experience working in a global organization is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities including documentation, orientation, and Day 1 logistics
- Liaise with hiring managers and HR Shared Services to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, system access removal, and final documentation
- Track onboarding and offboarding metrics and provide insights to HR leadership
HRIS & Data Management
- Maintain accurate employee records in SAP/SuccessFactors and ADP Workforce Now
- Support data audits, integrity checks, and system updates
- Assist with organizational changes, transfers, and terminations
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports (e.g., headcount, attrition, onboarding status)
- Support data analysis for performance reviews and compensation planning
- Prepare dashboards and summaries for leadership presentations
Performance & Compensation Cycle Support
- Provide administrative support for annual performance review cycles
- Track submissions, send reminders, and assist with documentation
- Support compensation planning logistics and data preparation
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Track and document employee relations cases and escalate as needed
- Assist with documentation and follow-up for investigations or corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local/state employment laws
Administrative & Project Support
- Create and maintain Excel trackers and PowerPoint presentations for HR initiatives
- Support HR projects such as engagement surveys, DEI programs, and internal communications
- Assist with visa invitation letters and travel coordination
- Identify and suggest improvements to HR workflows and documentation
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or generalist roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with SAP/SuccessFactors and ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Experience working for a global organization is preferred
- Experience supporting visa processes or documentation is a plus
Work Environment
This role requires onsite presence in Baltimore 3 days per week. Occasional travel or extended hours may be required during peak HR cycles.
